So what's it all about then?!...
X-HUTBC is the brainchild of Adam O’Neill, who in 2006 realised that his University bowling days were numbered, but that his will to finish just outside the winners circle lived on.
Whilst presiding over HUTBC as president and social secretary for the past four years, Adam helped make it one of the loudest and most entertaining university teams in the country (…well, at least that was the opinion of most people who were a part of it!) thus the aim is to make X-HUTBC its carbon copy within the ex-student universe.
More than just about bowling, X-HUTBC is about culture of drinking, shouting and bad language… (and hopefully winning).
Fancy being a part of it?
Well the only criteria you need to match is…
a) Be a former member of the University of Hull Tenpin Bowling Club
b) Be willing to bowl
c) Be willing to drink
d) Not to find it strange to shout random phrases such as “Pocoyo”
and “More Height, Less Phil” during important frames
So if you think you have what it takes (…that being a strong liver and good sense of humour) then get in touch and join the revolution.
X-HUTBC will be attending most of, if not all ex-student competitions throughout the year, but will also hold regular social events including day trips and the possibility of a summer holiday!
